Group Training: The Truth Is…

Group Training: The Truth Is…

When a child does not receive optimal development, what happens inside his or her brain? We will explore this in detail. In order to understand a child’s behaviors, you must understand the brain. We will discuss the amygdala and how it controls some children by over-activating the fight-flight-freeze response. We will discuss ways to calm the brain, which in turn can lessen many of the challenges we face. We will focus on responding to the cause of behaviors rather than responding to behaviors.

Approved for two hours of group credit.
