Christopher is a young man who is ready to play.  He likes playing football and basketball and well as riding scooters and bikes.  The adults in his life share that Christopher has a great sense of humor and loves to tell jokes.  He is also described as very charming and loving.

Christopher is doing well in school.  He is currently getting caught up academically after spending a lot of time focused on behavior issues.   He is working on appropriate social skills and anger management.

Structure will be important to Christopher in his new home to help him feel safe.  He will benefit from clear rules, consequences and follow through.  The adoptive family should also be patient, have a good understanding of mental health and attachment concerns.  Christopher will benefit from having professionals in his life as he continues to work through his past and build towards a healthy future.  Because Christopher has a sibling in Iowa, a family that lives in Iowa or the surrounding states would be a good fit to allow them to remain connected
