Cynthia is a bright and intelligent 10-year-old. She likes crafts, Hannah Montana, High School Musical, reading and playing with friends.   She does very well in school and loves to read. 

Cynthia has empathy for others and is a caring girl.  When asked what she wanted for Christmas, she responded that she’d like all kids to have a home. 

She has experienced many losses in her short life.  She’s lived in multiple settings and has been exposed to inappropriate things. Through all of this, she remains a survivor.  Due to all of her losses, she struggles with attachment issues.  She will need a family that will be committed to her through all of her ups and downs and be willing to participate in therapy with her.  Cynthia thrives on attention and would benefit from being the only child in the home.  A family with experience with attachment issues and the behavioral issues involved would be good.  Cynthia will need a lot of supervision and guidance as she continues to work on her behaviors, but she has made a lot of progress.
